Friends of the Burnie Regional Museum

The BRM Friends are a group of people who are interested in actively supporting the Burnie Regional Museum. They assist the BRM by encouraging the community to engage with and support this important institution.

The Friends of the Burnie Regional Museum help to promote the BRM by organising activities and events for the public to enjoy and by volunteering their time.

Part of the function of the Friends of the Burnie Regional Museum is to raise funds to assist with the purchase of equipment and acquisitions for the BRM collection. 

The Friends group allows you to be involved as little or as much as you want to be. Just by paying your subscription fee, you are helping the Burnie Regional Museum.

Annual Membership Fee (July – June)

  • Couples $30
  • Singles $20
  • Full-time students $5

The Committee of the Friends of the Burnie Regional Museum meets on the third Friday of every month, 10:30am-12:00pm at the museum. General members are also welcome to attend these meetings.
